Our Summer 2020 Railing Project Photo Contest has come to an end.

The winning project is certainly one-of-a-kind! Who would have thought an old train caboose could be converted into a beautiful, functional tiny home. Installed to add safety and elegance is the Peak Aluminum Railing system in Black with large glass panels. It's safe to say that this project had a well thought-out railing design that was perfectly executed for this unique home.
Unique Caboose Home Featuring the Black Railing System with Large Glass Panels
This caboose was moved onto a property in the mountains and the homeowner wanted a steel deck on it to expand the space without requiring too much maintenance. According to the homeowner, "when the wonderful construction crew was going to build a rather normal railing, I said no, that's just too average". She saw a modest installation of the Peak Aluminum Railing with glass panels on a friend's deck and she knew the system was perfect for her new caboose home.
"I couldn't be happier. You should see the light dance through it with reflections of mountains and trees changing in every light."
